Ok, so I was looking in my basement for nostalgia and stuff of that nature, and I found my dad's old video camera. I can't get it to turn on, though. My dad died a few years ago, so I don't know if it was broken when he had it or what. It's an older camera I'd imagine. I remember him having it when I was 4,5ish years old at the beach and stuff, (I'm 13) so it's about 5-8 years old AT LEAST. Unless he used a differant camera for those instances, and this is a newer one. I can't remember if they are the same or not.

It's a JVC GR-D30U it's a mini DV (I think that's what it is, there's a sticker on the bottem with the model name) I looked on the JVC website, and there's not a model by that name, so I assume it's not sold anymore, so the FAQs there won't help. I did find similar threads on there with people saying they couldn't start their cameras either. I've tried plugging it into the AC adapter, the battery is full. but it will not turn on. I would like the fix it. It was probably really expensive. and I think it's kinda cool looking XD that and also, there was a lot of footage of my dad when he was alive, and I'd like to salvage it.
